Production and Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

It can take some time to hand stamp your piece. Usually processing time is about 1-3 days but can extend to 5 days around certain times of the year. Shipping is usually overnight and up to 2 days for Rural Delivery. Please see the announcement bar at the top of the website for the most up to date production time. Please allow for shipping delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as flooding or shortage of courier staff.

Can I make changes to my order?

It depends. Please email trueimpressions@outlook.com with any changes you’d like to make as soon as possible after placing your order. If I haven’t started working on your order, I am happy to make any changes you would like. Unfortunately, once the order has been started, no changes can be made.

What if the chain length I ordered isn’t right?

No worries at all. If this is the case, please let me know within 14 days after you have received your piece and I will happily change it for you. Fees apply.

Can I order a shorter or longer chain then what is listed?

Yes of course, I can make any length chain you’d like. For a shorter chain, just make a note of it in the box at checkout. For a longer chain, you can add on the extra necklace chain length needed here.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes of course! I love being asked to create something unique just for you. Please just get in touch and we can have a chat about it.

How much is shipping?

We are so happy to provide overnight shipping that is tracked so you can follow your package as soon as it is dispatched. We offer Free Shipping for orders over $99.00. For all orders under $99.00, we offer a flat rate of $6.00 shipping NZ wide, or $9.00 for rural addresses.

About 14K Gold Filled | Care Instructions

Gold filled is made when a base metal such as brass is sandwiched between two layers of Gold alloy which is then heated and passed through a roller several times. This process bonds the metals together. Gold filled has 100 times more gold compared to gold plated. It offers the same look and qualities that solid gold offers but at a much more affordable price.

14k Gold Filled products are resistant to tarnishing and is great for people with sensitive skin.

Here is how to look after your 14K Gold-filled Jewellery:

Use the polishing cloth that comes with your jewellery to clean and restore shine to your jewellery. Never use chemicals to clean it.

Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, vigorous exercise or sleeping to prevent tarnish.

Allow perfume, lotions and sunscreen to dry before wearing your jewellery.

Store your unique and special piece in a cool, dry place, ideally in the box it came in.

About Sterling Silver | Care Instructions

Sterling Silver jewellery is timeless and can last a lifetime.

Over time, any Sterling Silver jewellery piece exposed to air will tarnish. Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. It’s the other metals, primarily copper, that cause Sterling Silver to tarnish. 

It is a natural process that happens when silver reacts with other chemicals.

Here is how to look after your Sterling Silver Jewellery:

Use the polishing cloth that comes with your jewellery to clean and restore shine to your jewellery. Never use chemicals to clean it.

Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, vigorous exercise or sleeping to prevent tarnish.

Allow perfume, lotions and sunscreen to dry before wearing your jewellery.

Store your unique and special piece in a cool, dry place, ideally in the box it came in.

You can also put it in a little zip-lock bag and remove as much air as possible when storing it.

One of the best ways to keep sterling silver beautiful is to wear it.

Can you stamp both sides of a pendant?

No sorry. We can't stamp both sides, due to the nature of the hand stamping process which leaves a slight imprint on the underside of the pendant.

Returns, exchanges, refund policy.

What is your returns policy?

We are unable to refund payment or provide an exchange on personalised items, so please choose carefully. Make sure your personalisation choices are correct before completing your order.

Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to exchange earrings.

If the error was our mistake, we will fix it immediately and will repair, refund or exchange along with the return shipping fees. 

Do your pieces come with a warranty?

Yes, all of our pieces have a 30 day warranty for any chain or clasp defects. Please email us immediately at trueimpressions@outlook.com, if you’re having issues with a broken chain or a faulty clasp so we can resolve the issue. If your necklace breaks after the 30 day time frame, contact us and we can advise on chain repair or replacement.
